My daughter, Riley started training with Megan at the age of 10 years old. Megan’s precise instruction and direct feedback took Riley’s skills to another level in a short period of time. More importantly, her energy, positivity and encouragement gave Riley confidence to unlock her game. She has inspired Riley to train harder and play with unbounded self-assurance that she can do whatever she sets her mind to on the field. Riley has been lucky to have trained with many accomplished lacrosse players and coaches. Megan is the best. I can’t express how grateful we are for Megan.

Working with Meg helped us so much! She taught us great fundamentals from a young age, which every player MUST have. She made our practice sessions fun, moving through lots of different drills while staying focused. Most importantly, she helped build our confidence and believe in ourselves! Not only did she teach us how to be amazing shooters and offensive players, but also well rounded players. Thank you so much!

I had such an amazing experience with Coach Meg at the Whittle Lacrosse clinic today. She is a supportive and encouraging coach who truly makes lacrosse fun, while always helping all the athletes at each clinic improve. The clinics are a place that I can work my hardest, make mistakes, make progress, and play in a state of flow. I enjoyed every second that I got to be coached by her, and when the clinic ended, I wished that there was more time. Coach Meg is so enthusiastic and has amazing energy. Her passion and love for lacrosse are contagious to the athletes she coaches, and it makes each session so fun and worth every second. I am so excited to come to future Whittle Lacrosse clinics and I am so grateful for the amazing experience that I had with Coach Meg today.

As a midfielder at a young age, Meg helped me learn the basic skills of catching, throwing, shooting, and dodging that helped me throughout my lacrosse career! Your teaching style helped me succeed by boosting my confidence as a kid!!

Our journey began with coach Megan Whittle when my daughter, Reese, was 9 years old and playing club lacrosse for Hero’s. Megan was the best attacker in the country and we always watched the Terps as much as possible. My daughter identified with Megan because she was a smaller and fast player like her. I thought to myself, wouldn’t it be amazing to work with someone of Megan’s caliper? Through a friend, we reached out to her hoping she would be both willing and available. She agreed and my daughter began working with her. Coach Whittle was incredibly nice and personable. My daughter couldn’t believe she was actually working with the player we watched so frequently. In the beginning, Coach Whittle worked with her on fundamentals and gave her great drills to practice on her own. Just as importantly, she discussed the mindset she would need to be an elite player and really helped boost her confidence. As my daughter’s skill level got better and she got older Megan was able to give her more in depth strategies and tricks of the trade that would work at more advanced levels. Lastly, Megan was also an invaluable resource for recruiting and gave such great advice about the process and ways she could help herself. My daughter has recently committed to Virginia Tech and I believe Megan had a big part in her development both physically and mentally over the years. She is such a positive person and great role model for girls of all ages. She leads by both what she says and how she carries herself away from lacrosse.

Congrats on Whittle Lacrosse and the new business. That is amazing and so inspiring!!!! I remember always looking up to you when you played for Maryland. I loved watching your aggressive attacking mindset and heart on the field. Those qualities make you such an amazing player and is something I continuously strive to carry with me in college as well. I loved all our sessions together where you helped me and my sister get better with shooting and dodging but also made the environment so fun and welcoming as well!!

So happy and proud of you, Meg. These girls are going to be so lucky to learn from you, you really had such a big part in shaping me and my sister into the players we are today!! You were such a role model and made playing and learning lacrosse at a young age so much fun! You motivated us not only in the way that you played but also in the way that you made lacrosse fun and you always encouraged us which made us more confident as players to get better. You really were such an inspiration and we were so so lucky to learn from one of the best!! It was also so inspirational to learn from such a successful and talented player and inspired us to realize we could do the same thing at a similar level.

I was 14 when I first joined lacrosse, I joined lacrosse so I could be closer to my culture and to connect with other lacrosse players, and be more active. Doing a clinic with Coach Meg makes me want to become a better player and has inspired me to work harder. I hope to see her more in the future.
